I learned that I can make a good quality product with a HD camera which is a lot better than the standard definition cameras that I had to use for previous videos. I learned the best conditions in which to use the camera and how to place it to get good looking shots. Whilst filming my final product the weather and lighting want the best but by smart camera placing my shots still looked relatively good.
The next piece of hardware that i learned to use was the tripod.
As i have little experience with a tripod it took a little getting used to but as I began to get confident in using it I found that you can get some great shots when it is placed in the correct places, I could also get some nice pan shots thanks to the rotating top.
I also learned how to use some new software whilst making my final product, the first piece of software that I learned to use was Adobe Premiere Pro.
Adobe premiere pro is a video editing software, I really liked using this as it made editing our video quick and simple, it also allows you to add things such as text which made putting credits and title sequences into our video very easy. It is very easy to create a professional looking product when using Adobe premiere.
The next piece of software that I learned to use is Adobe photoshop. Photoshop is a graphics editing software in which i made our ident.
I am comfortable in using Photoshop therefor was able to product a good looking image to use as our Ident.
The first web site that i used is blogger. Blogger has helped my share all of my steps in preparing for my final product, it shows the journey of where I began and how my work has progressed over time. It shows things like prop lists, research, planning and all of the work that went into my final product.
Another web site that I used is youtube, youtube is where I have uploaded all of my previous video work and my final product it shows how my camerawork has improved and has got my work out there for potentially millions of people to see. Without youtube the ways of getting my work out to the masses would be very limited.
The final web site that i used was Survey Monkey, this helped me gather audience feedback to see what people wanted out of my final product and helped me decide on who I would be aiming my final product towards, the audience feedback helped me shape my product into what I thought the audience wanted based on the feedback.
